A AstraZeneca , através dos seus Programas de Relacionamento e Fidelização :  “Conviver de A à Z“ e “Canal Vida  Melhor-Pacientes”, estabeleceu uma parceria com o Programa “Alfabetização Solidária”.

Os Programas de Relacionamento e Fidelização têm, como objetivo, oferecer aos pacientes cadastrados informações sobre o tratamento médico, hábitos adequados a uma vida saudável, retorno à consulta médica, facilidades de aquisição e até descontos especiais, com a  finalidade de reduzir os índices de abandono dos tratamentos crônicos.
Para participar destes programas, o paciente deve ser cadastrado pelo seu médico. E, para cada novo paciente cadastrado, a AstraZeneca está destinando uma importância ao Programa “ Alfabetização Solidária”. Conforme as diretrizes deste, adotamos em 2002, juntamente com o MEC – MINISTÉRIO DA EDUCAÇÃO e CULTURA, o Município de Santo Antonio do Jacinto ( M.G. ). Em um primeiro passo, no início deste ano alfabetizamos 250 pessoas, entre jovens e adultos. O que nos levou, em seguida, a renovar a parceria para a alfabetização de mais 250 pessoas.

AstraZeneca, through its Relationship and Patient Compliance Programmes: “Coexistence from A to Z” and “Better Life-Patients Channel”, has joined the Programme “Pledged Literacy”.

The Relationship and Patient Compliance Programmes have, as their purpose, the offering to registered patients informations on their medical treatment, habits adequate to a healthy life, return to medical consultation, facility for acquisition of medicines and even special discounts, with the objetive of reducing the rate of ceasing chronic treatments.
In order to participate in these programmes, the patient must be registered by his doctor. And, for each new patient registered, AstraZeneca commits to make a donation to the “Pledged Literacy Programme”. 
In line with the guidelines of these programmes, we adopted in 2002, together with the MEC – Ministry for Education and Culture - the municipality of Santo Antonio do Jacinto, in the State of Minas Gerais.
As a first step, at the beginning of the current year we taught writing and reading to 250 people, among teenagers and adults. As a consequence of the results attained, we decided to renew our partnership to teach another 250 people.
